美國．內布拉斯加州上空的乳狀雲

說明: 何時雲底會形似泡泡呢？ 正常的雲底是平的；這是因為潮濕的暖空氣上升，通常會在某個特定溫度及其對應的特定高度，冷凝而結成小水滴。 接著在小水滴變大之後，就形成不透光的雲。 不過，在某些情況下，雲的某些區域會發展出含有大水滴或冰粒的雲胞，然後向下沈降並蒸發。 這種雲胞可能出現在雷暴系統的湍流區附近，所形成的乳狀雲在陽光的側照之下，看起來格外醒目。 上圖的乳狀雲，是在2004年6月攝於美國．內布拉斯加州．黑斯廷斯市的天空中。
