The Moon and the Earth are pictured before a black background. The Moon appears brown and slightly larger due to its closer proximity to the Artemis 1 camera. The Earth is seen as a cloudy blue orb above the Moon. Please see the explanation for more detailed information.

說明: 從月亮的後方看過來，地球和月亮會是何種樣貌？ 雖然它們經常 一起 入鏡，但是在2022年底，美國航太總署 阿提米絲1號任務的獵戶號太空船，旋繞到這顆地球最大衛星的後方，然後回首眺望它的故鄉地球，並拍下了這對天體的不尋常視角影像。 由於地球的直徑大約是月球直徑的4倍，是以月亮看似較大，則是因為太空船較靠近它所致。 阿提米絲2號是美國航太總署阿提米絲計畫的第二項任務，目前規劃在2025年把人類送到月球附近，接續的阿提米絲3號任務，將於2026年底把人類送回月球表面。 在上星期，來自日本JAXA（日本宇航機構）的小型無人探測器 SLIM降落在月球上，並布署了兩部跳躍式的月面車。（Artemis mission 阿提米絲任務）
