Projection of CCD Imager on the Ground

According to the specification, the CCD camera used by ISUAL Imager has 512 x 80 pixels of imaging area. Its field of view is 34 x 6 degree. The projection of the ISUAL Imager on the Earth's surface can be depicted as the figure 1.

If the viewing angle of the CCD camera is 60.4095 degree, the observed area covered by CCD Imager is illustrated in figure 2. The time interval between each observed area is 300 second (5 min.). We provide 3 types of graphical format. The GIF format is provided for on-line viewing ( two resolutions (640x480, and 1024 x 768) are available), and the PDF and PostScript formats are used for higher hardcopy quality.
