火星機器人的影子

說明： 如果你在火星上看見自己的影子，而且那不是 人類？ 那麼，你或許就是在探索火星的機會號探測車。 機會號自 2004 年至 2018 年間探索了這顆紅色星球，並發現了遠古液態水的證據， 且向內太陽系傳回了令人嘆為觀止的影像。 攝於 2004 年的 這張照片中，機會號背向太陽， 望向 堅忍撞擊坑，並看見了自己的影子。 畫面左下與右下可以看到兩個輪子，而這座奇特撞擊坑的坑底與壁面在背景中也 清晰可見。 於 2018 年，機會號遭遇 沙塵暴，停止了與外界的聯繫。 2019年，NASA終止了與機會號的聯繫嘗試，並宣布這項原先僅規畫 92 天的開創性任務圓滿完成。
