說明： 這片雲發生了什麼事？ 遠處卷雲中的冰晶就像漂浮的小稜鏡。 這種彩虹因其火焰般的外觀而被俗稱為火彩虹，它是一種與地平線平行的環地平弧。 要看到環地平弧，太陽必須位於仰角至少 58 度的高度，並且下方有卷雲—在本例中是纖維狀卷雲。 構成卷雲的眾多扁平六角形冰晶必須水平排列，才能一致地折射陽光。 因此，環地平弧並不常見。 這張火彩虹照片攝於2021年，地點在美國西維吉尼亞州的北叉山North Fork Mountain附近。
