說明： 4月 23日， 初昇的月亮同時 遮掩 了金星與木星。 這種罕見的月掩星， 只在路徑上 少數的地區 才看得到。 這張不尋常的照片， 就是在這種地區拍攝的， 它 攝於 南大西洋的 昇天島 (Ascension Island) 。 照片故意讓 娥眉月 ─ 太陽光直射的月表區域， 過度曝光， 以讓月表其他受 昏暗的地球反照光 (earthshine)照射的部份， 能顯現出來。 金星恰好從蛾眉月頂端露出來， 木星是月球暗區上方的亮點， 而木衛三 (Ganymede) 位在 月緣和木星之間。 如再仔細端詳， 可找到另一顆 木衛 (Jovian moon) 的蹤跡， 木衛一 (Io) 恰好在木星的上緣。
