They are different sizes because the Micro Moon image on the left was captured when the Moon was near its furthest from the Earth, while the Super Moon on the right was captured when the Moon was near its closest to the Earth. 說明： 上週三的超級月亮有什麼特別之處？上週，出現了一輪比平常更大更亮的滿月。 這是因為月球的滿月階段恰好發生在距離近地點不久的時候——即月球在其橢圓軌道上距離地球最近的位置。雖然超級月亮的具體定義精確條件因情況而異，但上週三的超級月亮無疑是今年距離地球最近、最大、最亮的滿月。 超級月亮受歡迎的原因之一是它們非常容易觀察-只需在日落時走到戶外，就能欣賞到令人嘆為觀止的滿月升起！這裡的圖片中，上週三的超級月亮與四月的微月相比較-微月是指當滿月發生在月球軌道的最遠處附近，它看起來會比平常稍小且更暗。根據不同的定義，每年至少會出現一次超級月亮，下個月（moon-th）還會有一次。
