彗星 Lemmon 與銀河

說明： 萊蒙 Lemmon 最美的時候是什麼樣子？這裡展示了一個例子，圖中包含了三種不同距離的壯觀景象。 最近的景像是白雪皚皚的梅里山，它是中國 喜馬拉雅山脈的一部分。 中間的奇觀是彗星 Lemmon 在本月初接近其最佳觀測狀態時的樣子，不僅可以看到向右延伸的白色塵埃尾，還有向左延伸的、被太陽風扭曲的藍色離子尾。 遠處左側是我們本銀河系壯麗的中央盤面，那裡有暗塵埃、紅色星雲，以及數十億顆類太陽恆星。 C/2025 A6（Lemmon）正在返回外太陽系的過程中逐漸黯淡，而喜馬拉雅山脈將在未來數十億年中逐漸被侵蝕殆盡。然而，本銀河系將繼續存在，在未來數十億年中不斷形成新的山脈和彗星。
