說明: 那是全球各地皆可見的景觀。 更精確地說，當時在日落時有清朗西方天空的人皆可見。 在上面這幅攝於2012年的影像裡，一位富有創意的攝影者，遠離波蘭．Szubin鎮的燈火，以拍攝這兩顆行星的近合景象。 當時這二顆明亮行星相距只有3度，所以他的女兒才得以擺出這個有趣的姿勢。 背景中，落日渲染出的紅暈尚未完全褪去。 在這個月的日落後，木星和金星再次發生近合，它們在上星期更接近到間距少於1度。
