泰德火山的夜空

說明: 從Canary Island Tenerife拍攝出這張接近對稱的夜空影像，可見積雪覆蓋的泰德火山以及夜空 倒映在水面上。在這單次曝光的影像中，北極星就在山峰之上，甚至還捕捉到繞極的銥衛星所產生的明亮長條軌跡。 因為相機是固定在三角架上，在長時間曝光之下，這些恆星會產生同心弧線，反映出地球自轉的現象。如果輕輕滑動滑鼠到影像上方，就可為上圖另外加上一則曝光長達4.5小時的影像。大型天文台也利用Canary Island的寧靜夜空進行研究攝 影。
